  • April 26, 2016

SBBB has launched the “Business Confidence Survey 2015” conducted in Bangladesh. This is the second survey among Nordic companies doing business in Bangladesh. Sweden’s Ambassador in Dhaka H.E. Mr. Johan Frisell presented the report and updated the participants on the current business situation in Bangladesh.

The Business Confidence Survey 2015 report is a testament of the strong Nordic presence and close cooperation that exists in Bangladesh. The Business Confidence Survey is an important survey among the majority of the Nordic companies in Bangladesh. It shows that 91% of the respondents are looking to expand their operations in Bangladesh over the coming 3 years. Gender equality is also included in this year’s survey and many of the Nordic companies seek effective ways to address gender inequalities in their companies. The survey shows strong evidence of the vast business opportunities in Bangladesh.

This report is an outcome of a joint initiative between the Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh (NCCI) and the Sweden Bangladesh Business Council (SBBC), with the support from the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Embassies in Bangladesh.

The honorable ambassador of Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Golam Sarwar expressed his thanks to  the Ambassador for his presentations and SBBC for organizing the event and its good work. He gave his views on possibilities in Bangladesh and welcomed Swedish companies to Bangladesh.

The meeting ended over a mingle with the participants. More pictures from the event can be found click here>>
