The Embassy of Bangladesh in Stockholm in collaboration with Sweden-Bangladesh Business Council (SBBC) hosted ‘Executive Lounge event on 50 years of Diplomatic Relations between Bangladesh and Sweden’ at the Embassy’s premises on 24th March 2022.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Sweden Mr. Md. Nazmul Islam and the President of Sweden-Bangladesh Business Council (SBBC) Ms. Nathalie Tranefeldt delivered welcome remarks. 

Ambassador Mr. Börje Ljunggren, a veteran Swedish Diplomat delivered the keynote speech of the event. Mr. Niclas Kvarnstrom, Head of Asia and the Pacific Department, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Sweden and Mr. Göran Holmqvist, Director, Department for Asia, Middle East and Humanitarian Assistance, Sida delivered speeches as special guests of the event. A good number of government, private and business representatives from both Bangladesh and Sweden and members of SBBC attended the event.
