On the 9th of February SBBC arranged its first programme of this year, an Executive Lounge Mingle at Hotel Scandic no 53 on Kungsgatan in Stockholm. This networking event included the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden, Qatar Airways and Svensk Låneråd AB as speakers.

The session started with a welcome note from SBBC’s President Nathalie Tranefeldt. During the welcome speech Nathalie mentioned how important for it is for SBBC to receive feedbacks and suggestions from SBBC’s current members to provide more value to SBBC’s members. Keeping that in mind, SBBC will soon carry out a survey to its members to gather their suggestions and feedback.

The next point on the agenda was a presentation from the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden, H. E. Mr. Mehdi Hasan. The presentation provided key facts and figures regarding recent economic growth of Bangladesh and the potential the country possesses for foreign investments. He gave advice on specific business possibilities from Sweden to Bangladesh.

Later, the programme continued with a presentation from the Senior Account Manager of Qatar Airways, Ms. Nina Astor. Her speech focused on the recent updates from Qatar Airways, describing its membership tier packages for businesses. She provided the information regarding the SME package that Qatar is offering, called “Beyond Business” which can add value to the SMEs while using Qatar Airways for flying.

The last presentation was held by Mr. Randip Choudhury from Svensk Låneråd AB. There he explained his services and offers focusing on helping his customers to make the right financial choices while purchasing their houses.

Later the programme continued with refreshments and networking, where the participants had the opportunity to mingle and increase their networks.
