The inauguration of the council was a success! The Ambassador of Sweden Anneli Lindahl Kenny and the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Sweden, Mr.A.F.M. Gausal Azam Sarker inaugurated the Council together and a ceremony of tying ribbons in both countries’ colours under Fredrik Fexe ‘s guidance took place. Afterwards we had an informal mingle with our 65 participants to the programme. Svensk Handel and Swedish Trade Council were sponsors of the event.
Speakers of the first part of the programme were The Ambassador of Bangladesh Mr.A.F.M. Gausal Azam Sarker who talked about opportunities in Bangladesh, and The Ambassador of Sweden Anneli Lindahl Kenny who gave her opinion on whether Bangladesh is going to be the next China. Chief economist of Swedish Trade Council Mr Mauro Gozzo gave his view on the third wave of emerging markets and its challenges and Anneli Åhman, former CFO Ericsson Bangladesh talked about her experience from doing business there.
