Dear SBBC Members,

This has not been an ordinary spring anywhere in the world. The Covid-19 pandemic has been felt in Sweden as it has been here in Bangladesh. Many people have health concerns for themselves and for family and friends. Many have also had their livelihood or businesses affected by the pandemic. There have been some instances of new business opportunities coming to light as a result of the pandemic. However, many businesses have also suffered interruptions and uncertainty since the pandemic started.

Let us hope that the rest of 2020 will bring a rainbow of hope and better times ahead. I wish you all an enjoyable Midsummer celebration  (in whatever format is possible during these unusual times).

Since this is my third and last year as Sweden’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank SBBC for the good collaboration, and for everything you do to keep Swedish and Bangladeshi businesses connected.
