SBBC hosted its first Executive Lounge and Mingle event at Scandic Continental, Stockholm, for its members and network. The theme of this event was SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).

After a welcoming from the President of SBBC, Ms. Nathalie Tranefeldt, the first guest speaker of the evening took the floor. Mr. Jens Helmersson, chairman of the board, co-founder and CEO of the Swedish company QuizRR (www.quizrr.se), held an interesting presentation about their important activities on sustainability in Asia and Bangladesh. QuizRR helps suppliers and buyers in building a common knowledge platform, a safe workplace, trust, transparency and dialogue for all employees at all levels in the supply chain. QuizRR provides a fun, fast and flexible training tool for measurable impact and a platform to connect suppliers and buyers with the right mindset. For instance, their work involves that workers experience a safer work environment, and that factory managers show increased awareness of work environment issues.

Next guest speaker was. H.E. Mr. Nazmul Islam, Bangladesh Ambassador in Stockholm. He gave an appreciated post-COP26 update and description of the work and progress on SDGs and the situation in Bangladesh during the pandemic.

The event ended with an engaged question and answer session, business chatting and mingling. SBBC served finger foods and drinks.
