Govt finally steps in to regulate e-commerce cos; E-commerce companies, including Evaly, will no longer get payments before customers get their products, the government said on Thursday. Although Bangladesh has higher earnings growth, the sell-side remains limited, the British multinational investment bank said in a report on the Asia frontier styled, “Bangladesh at 50: ready to close the gap with Vietnam”. Telemedicine; As hospitals see an upsurge of patients amid the Covid-19 crisis alongside other medical complications, telemedicine services appear as a great relief for healthcare providers and patients. Sustainable Development Report 2021; In the report, Bangladesh has been ranked 109th with the overall score 63.5 in the 2021 SDG index. NEW DELHI:  India has technically slipped below Bangladesh in terms of per capita income as the neighbouring country reported its per capita income at $2,227 in the financial year 2020-21— over 9 per cent jump from $2,064 in 2019-20. Latest official data show that India’s per capita income reached $1,947.417. When the World Economic Outlook data was released by the International Monetary Fund in October last year, it had also projected Bangladesh to surpass India in terms of per capita GDP .
